What Is Geology?
Geology is the study of the earth. Geo means earth, and ology means study of. Geology is one type of Earth science that studies both the liquid and solid Earth, looks at the rocks which Earth is made of, and how those rocks change over time. Geologists can gather evidence about the past by studying the rocks around us.

Earth Science for Kids
Geology is included under the branch of science known as Earth Science. Earth Science is the study of the earth and everything that physically makes up it and its atmosphere. From the ground we walk on to the air we breathe, the wind that blows, and the oceans we swim in… learning about
