What are shamrocks? Shamrocks are the young sprigs of the clover plant or trefoil. They are also a symbol of Ireland.
According to a legend, Saint Patrick used the shamrock or clover leaf to describe the religious doctrine of the Holy Trinity. The name shamrock comes from the Irish word seamróg. This is a version of the Irish word for clover (seamair) meaning simply “little clover” or “young clover”. Sometimes other three-leafed plants are also called shamrocks.

SUPPLIES:
- Shamrock template
- Colored paper (rainbow colors)
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Print paper strips template.
STEP 2: Use the template to cut four strips of each color in the rainbow.
